About the role

Define product/solution strategy and develop product roadmap
Manage execution of multi-year roadmap, new product development, value improvements, product introductions and phase-outs
Collaborate with Vertical and Marketing teams for regional and local launch plans
Drive Xylem Product Development (XPD) process and develop business cases, product requirements
Conduct market research, Voice of Customer, customer visits and competitive monitoring
Develop quantified value propositions and package products, solutions and services
Track sales, orders and margins; provide data for S&OP forecast and pricing guidelines
Manage product lifecycle from launch to end-of-life and support launches
Participate in technical meetings, conferences, trade shows and ensure product technical performance
Support branding, thought leadership content and collaborate with R&D for next-gen value propositions

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution, or equivalent
A minimum of 3 to 5 years previous experience in product management in an industrial equipment environment (specific treatment industry experience is preferred) with at least $25M responsibility
Demonstrated experience working in an international environment in a matrix organization
Excellent computer, communication, presentation, management and analytical skills
Ability to resolve difficult technical and business issues
Strong interpersonal, teamwork and problem-solving skills
Ability to understand technical issues and communicate impact
Flexibility to deal with changing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred: MBA or higher degree in Business Administration; Green Belt Certification; multi-lingual capabilities
