Serve as a strategic consultant/subject matter expert to Area CHROs and Caregiver Relations Consultants on complex employee relations matters
Identify and assess situations for compliance and policy concerns and make recommendations for resolution
Support Labor and Employment Counsel in the investigation of legal matters
Recommend and promote consistent and best practice approaches to positive employee and labor relations and adherence to HR policies
Ensure compliance with regulatory and policy requirements and standards, including Federal and State employment law and OSHA
Conduct investigations, review and oversight on Reductions in Force, and project work
Provide oversight on Caregiver Relations work product and mentorship of Caregiver Relations consultants
Perform employee relations research, performance management consultations, and identify trends and patterns requiring intervention
Conduct labor relations research, dispute alternatives, and policy development
Maintain effective record keeping, data integrity, HR metrics and dashboards, and report findings to HR professionals
Requirements
8 years experience in general human resources, or equivalent work experience, at exempt level, in multi-state/location, service line of business
8 years Demonstrated experience in the area of Employee Relations, Labor Relations, ADAAA, and leaves of absence
Demonstrates advanced experience in one of the following specialty areas: labor relations, ADAAA, Leaves of Absence, or mediation
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred)
Upon hire: HR Certification (SPHR, SHRM-SCP or PHR, SHRM-CP) (preferred)
5 years Project Management experience (preferred)
5 years experience in the specialty areas of Drug Free Workplace, Compliance, Performance Management, ADA/LOA (preferred)
5 years Supervision of Human Resources staff or equivalent work experience (preferred)
Knowledge of Federal and State employment law, OSHA, and healthcare-related agency requirements
Experience conducting investigations, Reductions in Force oversight, and HR policy development
