Serve as a strategic consultant/subject matter expert to Area CHROs and Caregiver Relations Consultants on complex employee relations matters
Identify and assess situations for compliance and policy concerns and make recommendations for resolution
Support Labor and Employment Counsel in the investigation of legal matters and promote consistent best practice approaches to employee and labor relations
Oversight on Caregiver Relations work product and mentorship of Caregiver Relations consultants
Conduct labor relations research, dispute alternatives, and policy development
Provide review and oversight on Reductions in Force and project work
Ensure effective record keeping and data integrity
Provide SME expertise and competency-based systems to support adherence to Federal and State employment, OSHA, and other healthcare-related regulatory requirements
Maintain HR metrics and dashboards and report findings to other HR professionals to align actions with results
Requirements
8 years experience in general human resources, or equivalent work experience, at exempt level, in multi-state/location, service line of business
8 years Demonstrated experience in the area of Employee Relations, Labor Relations, ADAAA, and leaves of absence
Demonstrates advanced experience in one of the following specialty areas: labor relations, ADAAA, Leaves of Absence, or mediation
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
Preferred: Upon hire: HR Certification (SPHR, SHRM-SCP or PHR, SHRM-CP)
Preferred: 5 years Project Management experience
Preferred: 5 years experience in specialty areas of Drug Free Workplace, Compliance, Performance Management, ADA/LOA
Preferred: 5 years Supervision of Human Resources staff or equivalent work experience
Must be located in one of Providence's 7 Footprints States: Alaska, California, Oregon, Washington, Texas, New Mexico, or Montana (100% Remote within these states)
