About the role
- Serve as a member of the inpatient psychiatric consult liaison (CL) service.
- Provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and implementation.
- Provide crisis intervention.
- Plan, direct, and provide professional psychiatric and substance abuse assessment, treatment, and discharge planning using a multidisciplinary approach.
- Coordinate care planning with team members.
- Work at Providence Kodiak Island Counseling Center serving inpatient behavioral health patients.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or health related field.
- Upon hire: Alaska Masters Social Worker License.
- Upon hire: Alaska Clinical Social Worker License.
- Upon hire: Alaska Psychologist License.
- Upon hire: Alaska Marriage and Family Therapist License.
- Upon hire: Alaska Professional Counselor License.
- 2 years clinical experience in behavioral health.
- 1.0 FTE, Day shifts, 40 hours per week schedule.
