About the role

  • Ensure correct coding initiatives for clean claim submission
  • Correct claims billed and collected on behalf of Covenant
  • Address claim edits and file claims on UB-04 (RHC) or 1500 (835/837 formats)
  • Complete follow-up on outstanding accounts
  • Identify functional issues and report to appropriate leader
  • Work under direction of Central Business Office Director and supervision of Manager/Supervisor

Requirements

  • Experience in computer applications
  • Preferred: 1 year Health care business office experience or related field
  • Preferred: 3 years Medical billing and medical terminology
