About the role

  • Role summary: Lead a team delivering consulting, education, and implementation services for Atlassian products
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Manage, mentor, and coach professional services staff; provide feedback, career development, and performance reviews
  • Project & Service Delivery: Oversee end-to-end delivery of consulting, education, and implementation projects; act as escalation for complex technical matters
  • Financial & Operational Management: Manage bookings, revenue, gross margin, and team utilization; implement processes for delivery tracking, reporting, and resource allocation
  • Client & Stakeholder Relationships: Build strategic client relationships; collaborate with Sales, Success, Support, Product, and Marketing
  • Strategic Planning & Growth: Contribute to strategic vision of professional services practice; partner on pre-sales scoping and solution design

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of mentoring and managing a team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration
  • Deep technical expertise in the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Jira Service Management) and related technologies
  • Demonstrated experience with project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, and a strong understanding of project management tools
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with clients and cross-functional internal teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges and resolve issues effectively
  • Solid business acumen, including a clear understanding of financial management, key performance indicators (KPIs), and operational metrics
  • A strong dedication to client satisfaction, with a history of building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Proven adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to respond to changing client needs and project requirements
  • Preferred: Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) certifications
  • Preferred: Experience with scripting languages (Groovy, Python) and REST APIs
  • Preferred: Background in system integration and third-party tool connectors
  • Preferred: Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, or other cloud technologies
  • Preferred: Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques
