Software Engineer

• Lead a five-week engagement focused on visualizing procurement and deal management data.
• Bridge the gap between Atlassian Jira Cloud and Tableau, managing the project from requirements gathering through to the final delivery of executive-level dashboards.
• Responsible for configuring connectors, translating stakeholder needs into technical requirements, and building a cohesive Tableau workbook that tracks deal status, cost savings, and team workload distribution.
• Conduct interviews with stakeholders and team leads to identify specific configuration needs and reporting KPIs.
• Create a documented list of report requirements and a prioritized backlog of work to be completed within the engagement timeframe.
• Collaborate with Tableau Administrators to acquire necessary access.
• Enable and configure the Tableau Connector for Jira within the Jira Cloud instance.
• Design and build a single comprehensive Tableau workbook containing distinct views for Executives and Procurement Team members.
• Configure specific charts and reports including:
• Executive Summary: High-level view of deal management.
• Financial Metrics: Total cost savings on deals and savings broken down by cost center.
• Operational Metrics: Status of deals (Complete vs. In Progress) and distribution of work across team members.
• Ensure all summaries allow for detailed views and data drill-downs.
• Lead iterative User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and remediate any issues found.
• Perform a formal Knowledge Transfer session with Jira Admins to ensure maintainability.

Tableau Developer – Integration Specialist

• Work as a strategic partner to the business by aligning with various groups on their strategic vision and business priorities, acting as the primary liaison between business teams and technology.
• Understand the technology capabilities required to support business needs and develop and maintain a technology roadmap for applications in scope, proactively communicating and collaborating with business stakeholders.
• Lead business requirements gathering sessions and analyze key business processes and requirements. Understand business processes, issues, use cases, requirements, system integrations, reporting, and data flow in depth.
• Drive productivity and creativity by improving existing processes or implementing new business processes through technology solutions, including conducting comprehensive analysis of current and future application usage across teams and personas.
• Collaborate closely with the technical lead and engineers to translate business requirements into scalable and integrated technology design and solutions.
• Develop and implement best practices and governance for application access, usage, and data across the organization. Work with business users to document, manage, and prioritize bug fixes and enhancements.
• Drive an enablement program to increase the adoption of core applications (including training, support documentation, and office hours).
• Support business users on system configuration and administration, including identifying system issues, troubleshooting, and analyzing potential solutions and workarounds.
• Support product development and release lifecycle by working with the technical lead and developers to test and release new system functions, ensuring on-time delivery of new products and features. This includes assisting with new releases and approving all User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Participate in sprint planning and other team rituals, including on-call for your area, with a focus on continual process reflection and improvement over time.

Business Applications Engineer

• Serve as strategic partner delivering VISTA-aligned consulting to clients

Account Executive

• Own the overall sales strategy for assigned enterprise accounts, focusing on significant revenue growth and account expansion.
• Develop and execute comprehensive account plans that align with revenue targets and leverage our VISTA solutions.
• Identify and prioritize target growth areas within the Atlassian ecosystem with key stakeholders within the organization.
• Create SOWs and proposals in collaboration with internal teams, and negotiate commercial terms to secure new business, leveraging AI tools and techniques for enhanced productivity.
• Cultivate deep, executive-level relationships within client organizations, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Lead the strategic alignment with the Atlassian, Tempo, Appfire and SmartBear Account teams to maximize partnership opportunities within our account base and target account list.
• Work in close partnership with Field CTOs (fCTOs) to drive the development of winning Statements of Work (SOWs). The Account Executive is responsible for the commercial strategy and positioning, while the fCTO is responsible for authoring the technical solution and SOW document.
• Lead the negotiation of commercial term for high-value opportunities.
• Proactively identify and sell opportunities for change orders, aligning scope adjustments with client objectives and driving additional revenue.
• Adhere to defined sales processes, from discovery and solutioning through to final negotiation.
• Collaborate with fCTOs and other internal leaders (Marketing, Delivery) to align messaging, develop solutions, and ensure seamless account execution.
• Manage and monitor customer satisfaction, proactively addressing any issues to maintain strong client relationships.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in SFDC for personal opportunities to ensure reliable forecasting.
• Work with our Consulting Operations team to manage the staffing of projects and allocate the right talent for VISTA engagements.
