About the role
- Reporting to the Vice President, Field Operations and working collaboratively with restaurant leadership.
- Critical in cultivating Portillo’s familial and high performing culture while executing world-class operations.
- Deliver a superior guest experience enabling restaurants to create lifelong memories.
- Collaborate and provide results-oriented leadership in executing market annual operating and growth plans.
- Monitor critical measures of market P&L performance per restaurant.
- Communicate and ensure operational standards for excellence in every aspect of the market.
- Dedicated to spending 90% of time in the field and 10% administrative.
- Ensure standardization and consistency within the business.
- Champion the Portillo’s culture by embracing and modeling our Purpose and Values.
- Move with urgency and passion in motivating and leading a high-performance market and restaurant leadership team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, preferred
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Exceptional organization skills, and decision-making skills, especially under stressful, difficult situations
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and successfully execute tactics
- Proven self-starter who sets aggressive plans and consistently meets the challenge
- Travel may be required +80%.
