About the role
- Develop strong content knowledge of the healthcare industry
- Research potential prospects and create strategic outreach plans
- Cold call and email to schedule meetings and conference calls
- Engage assigned territory to understand prospects and identify opportunities for Account Executives
- Use CRM to track progress, schedule activities, and document prospective customers
- Prepare background material and market research for sales meetings
- Manage post-sales meeting follow up and assist with new customer sales process
- Maintain internal database to track KPIs and sales and marketing activities
- Own calendaring, logistics and administrative responsibilities for the Vice President of Sales
- Contribute to booking and revenue targets and manage special projects
- Act as first point of contact with prospects to establish positive relationships
- Help prospects identify the need for LTPAC patient data to improve resident care
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Post-Secondary Degree/College Diploma
- Some experience in entry level sales
- Customer service experience
- Experience working in a team environment
- Sales or fundraising experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to meet and exceed goals
- Ability to communicate by e-mail and phone
- Ability to overcome challenges or obstacles in the moment
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
- Some experience using CRM systems (preferably Salesforce or SalesLoft)
