About the role

  • Build the Sales channel by attracting and qualifying Life Sciences prospects evaluating patient data and services
  • Generate leads and collaborate on targeted campaigns to build and increase customer base
  • Strategic approach to territory planning, account planning, account cohorting and pre-discovery/qualification
  • Engage assigned territory of prospects to understand their business and schedule meetings for Account Executives
  • Cold call and email to schedule meetings and conference calls
  • Use CRM to track progress, schedule activities, and document information on prospective customers
  • Contribute to booking and revenue targets and identify needs for LTPAC patient data
  • Prepare background material and market research for sales meetings and appointments
  • Manage post-sales meeting follow up and assist with new customer sales process
  • Own calendaring, logistics and administrative responsibilities for the Vice President of Sales
  • Manage special projects and maintain internal database to track key performance metrics
  • Act as first point of contact with prospects to establish a positive relationship and experience
  • Report to Manager, Account Development and collaborate with SDRs and Account Executives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience / Post-Secondary Degree/College Diploma
  • Some experience in entry level sales
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Sales or fundraising experience
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed goals
  • Ability to communicate by e-mail and phone
  • Ability to overcome challenges or obstacles in the moment
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Some experience using CRM systems (Salesforce or SalesLoft preferred but not required)
  • Goal oriented, driven, and positive attitude
  • Exceptional at building strong relationships at all levels
