Overseeing all activities within America to help expand the America market
Connect with corporates, government entities and other professional organizations to grow awareness and market size of PeopleCert products
Work closely with PC partner organizations in America and help them sell more ITIL products
Forge and nurture high-impact relationships with senior decision-makers for promoting ITIL products
Mentor and guide a commercial and events team to achieve defined goals and objectives
Build and manage a strong pipeline of leads and key accounts
Maintain and achieve maximum B2B market penetration of ITIL products, implementing a target-driven sales strategy
Coordinate activities with the company's operations base respecting local market conditions and culture
Plan and organise personal sales strategy to maximise Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment
Monitor progress against daily/weekly/monthly targets and report to Headquarters
Facilitate and expedite resolution of customer problems and complaints, working closely with support teams
Participate in trade shows, language education events, and strategic forums across the region
Collaborate cross-functionally with global product and marketing teams to drive local adaptation and growth
Requirements
Post-graduate degree is a must in IT, preferably an MBA
Over 8-10 years' experience in driving new business development at corporate level, with proven track record in driving successful business development transactions
Awareness of ITIL® is desirable but not an absolute must
A self-starter with an entrepreneurial bent of mind who can work across different cultures
Sound understanding of channel development, strategy selling principles, partnership strategy and consultative selling
Superb relationship, communication, and negotiation skills with executives and external constituents across cultures
Exposure in the Education market, Consulting or Examination/Certification sectors; experience in international corporate environments is an asset
Preference given to candidates from IT Consulting and/or Technology backgrounds
Advanced written and spoken English (C2 level certification desired; LANGUAGECERT C2 LTE or C2 IESOL a plus)
