About the role
- Support day-to-day operations across international programs by coordinating systems, logistics, and communication
- Track deliverables, monitor deadlines, and ensure project management system (Hive) is up-to-date and accurate
- Assist with organizing field visits, donor trips, partner consultations, and international meetings
- Collect, review, and reconcile quarterly and annual reports from partners, including financial and programmatic data
- Summarize budgets, reports, and key outputs into clear analyses for leadership and other departments
- Review Annual Operating Plans and Funding Agreements to ensure alignment and accuracy
- Monitor progress on organizational improvement plans and audit findings
- Manage and improve core datasets, support partners with data collection, audit and clean datasets
- Collaborate with MERLIN team to refine monitoring and evaluation systems
- Help design and improve digital tools such as geo-referenced data entry forms
- Analyze data to identify patterns and provide actionable insights
- Serve as a bridge between International Programs, global partners, and departments such as Grants and Marketing
- Fact-check and strengthen proposals and reports, coordinate data logistics for research and evaluations
- Plan and facilitate quarterly and annual partner reporting calls, regional team meetings, and capacity-building sessions
- Document partners’ voices and experiences through stories and photos that meet organizational standards
Requirements
- Must reside in CA, CO, IL, MI, MO, NC, NJ, NY, TN, TX, WA, or WI
- Full-time, non-exempt, hourly
- Career Stage: Developing Professional (3-5 years experience)
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, international development, project management, or related field
- 3–5 years of professional experience in international project management
- Organized project manager who thrives on planning, coordinating, and executing multi-phase projects with diverse stakeholders
- Strong data management and reporting skills
- Clear communicator who writes and speaks effectively in diverse contexts
- Comfortable with digital tools and systems, including project management platforms, data tracking tools, and budget/accounting software
- Quick to adapt to new technologies
- Analytical and solutions-oriented
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Collaborative and culturally competent

- Bonus: working-level language ability in Spanish, French, Thai, or Swahili
