About the role

  • Supervision and leadership of 6-10 representatives within the area assigned
  • Regular in field and virtual coaching and observation of Field Representatives and frequent customer contact
  • Develops and implements strategic plans for the District, business plan, and responsible for budgets at District level
  • Plans, organizes, and monitors performance to achieve business potential of the District and RBU
  • Proactive data analysis to identify market trends
  • Collaborates with Marketing and channel colleagues to develop key strategies and business imperatives
  • Build relationships with customers (including KOLs) and key stakeholders and utilize content appropriately for engagement
  • Develops external advocates and contributes to advocacy and community engagement
  • Ensures compliant execution by team members and advances a culture of integrity
  • Effectively plan and conduct plan of action and other meetings with District Management Teams and Channel Partners
  • Coach and counsel team members on selling skills, product knowledge, and hybrid selling capabilities
  • Implement and uphold District Standards with sales colleagues
  • Employ situational leadership and multiple methods of coaching across engagement types
  • Build strong team culture, colleague engagement, and morale in a hybrid environment
  • Set team goals and hold team members accountable for adherence in a hybrid environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • At least 3-5 years spent in a position with demonstrated leadership across peer and customer groups
  • Previous pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales experience preferred
  • Experience working with key thought leaders or high influence customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care organizations preferred
  • Valid US driver’s license and a driving record in compliance with company standards
  • Candidate demonstrates breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including ability to influence and collaborate, develop and coach others, oversee and guide colleagues
  • MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred
  • 5 or more years people management experience preferred
  • Specialty experience and expertise strongly preferred
  • Additional digital, L&C training to ensure personal adherence, as well as leadership by example for team adherence (incl. contracting permissions/guidelines)
  • Advanced virtual communication skills and multimodal coaching capabilities
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills and ability to analyze sales data/call reporting software/applications
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States required
