About the role

  • Drive growth of distribution and market share in the assigned area of operations
  • Ensure visibility and accountability through extensive QR & Soundbox deployment and product sales
  • Identify and recruit the sales team and align them to drive market business
  • Plan market size, span and geographies for ASMs
  • Devise methods to communicate plans/targets to minimize expectations vs delivery gap
  • Monitor quality parameters as suggested by management
  • Validate and conduct audits on acquisitions and sales done by the team
  • People manage a large team of 5-10 ASMs and 200+ indirect employees
  • Travel extensively within the specified area and coach/mentor the team

Requirements

  • 8-12 years experience in sales - business development, B2C markets
  • MBA (Marketing)
  • Good networking capabilities
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the specified area
  • Skilled in coaching and mentoring
  • Quick learner who applies new ideas and concepts
  • Self-starter, comfortable navigating ambiguity
  • Experience in quota driven sales
  • Good sales and negotiation skills
  • Experience in payments and finance is a plus
  • People management experience (managing 5-10 ASMs and 200+ indirect employees)
