About the role
- Provide Antiviral therapeutic area/product expertise across a broad range of external medical stakeholders
- Plan and execute independent medical strategies for assigned stakeholders in Texas
- Maintain required level of knowledge of relevant TA/disease states and Pfizer medicines
- Serve as a conduit for Medical Information and external stakeholder insights
- Deliver approved medical content about Pfizer medicines in the designated therapeutic area
- Identify and seek scientific engagement with priority external medical stakeholder segments
- Collaborate with Global Medical Affairs and partner in identification of potential clinical trial sites
- Mentor and onboard colleagues as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in health science required
- PharmD, PhD, or equivalent terminal doctoral degree (e.g., Doctor of Nursing Practice, Doctor of Physical Therapy) highly preferred
- PharmD/PhD with 5 years of relevant experience, MBA/MSc with 7 years, BA/BSc with 8 years
- Subject matter expert recognized across internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to understand and respond to multiple external and internal stakeholders’ demands
- Ability to manage a significant volume of projects in a remote environment
- Must be flexible to new opportunities and adaptable to organizational change
