• Design, develop, and maintain distributed applications for the Cortex TMS platform
• Lead heavy API integration projects to connect carriers, shippers, and partners seamlessly
• Apply advanced design patterns (especially in C#) to build scalable, maintainable systems
• Drive code quality through rigorous reviews and best practices
• Collaborate with product and logistics experts to translate trucking workflows into technical solutions
• Mentor junior engineers and provide leadership to offshore or 3rd party development teams
• Innovate with AI developer tools (Agentic AI, Claude, ChatGPT) to enhance platform intelligence
• Architect solutions leveraging AWS or Azure cloud services for performance and reliability

• Building the PCS Software client base and procuring new business logos by contacting new prospects through cold calling and onsite customer visits
• Closing multi-year licensing agreements
• Follow-up with current lead opportunities and contact new prospects via outbound calling
• Strategically building a strong pipeline to ensure quota is consistently met
• Coordinating with the Platform Engineers to schedule demonstrations that highlight specific elements of the PCS platform
• Delivering amazing customer service to potential clients as an ambassador and face of the company
• Identifying decision makers and establishing relationships with key players to generate interest and close deals
• Documenting daily sales activity and communicating information regarding prospects and opportunities via Salesforce.com
• Completing the full sales cycle filled with potential prospects beginning with the initial contact and then with constant follow-up calls, negotiating and closing sales agreements
