About the role
- Configure, maintain, and upgrade the client's financial performance management system, including managing patches and enhancements through the full lifecycle
- Maintain and troubleshoot system integrations to ensure accurate and timely consolidation of financial data from various business sources
- Manage user access and permissions, provide end-user training, and resolve system issues to ensure smooth operation
- Collaborate with business teams to enhance financial processes such as reporting and consolidation
- Maintain detailed system documentation
- Assist with vendor relationships to ensure effective issue resolution and performance
Requirements
- A relevant tertiary degree would be beneficial (IT, Finance, Business Administration, etc.)
- Professional certifications in EPM systems will be advantageous
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with an Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Business Intelligence (BI), or financial consolidation system
- Strong understanding of core financial concepts, including financial close, reporting, and data integration
- Proficiency with relational and multi-dimensional databases and SQL
- Proven ability to manage system upgrades, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and troubleshoot complex issues
- Experience with financial data reporting, regulatory compliance, and user training
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical teams
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite, especially Excel
