About the role
- Invest time exploring and understanding our data structures and how they interconnect
- Grow into a Subject Matter Expert in your areas of data stewardship
- Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to determine robust requirements for new reporting
- Independently and as a team, develop concise and accurate reporting
- Iterate and refine designs as needs expand and ideas surface
- Conduct investigative analysis and produce actionable recommendations to management
- Manage deliverables associated with business priorities and own communication of changes to impacted stakeholders
- Support business requirements of a more complex nature, and review specifications developed by IT for system design — including technical concepts, business rules, reporting requirements, and system implementation schedules
Requirements
- Ability to write and execute SQL queries to explore and pull data
- Experience cleaning and optimizing data, especially across multiple data sources
- Proficiency leveraging Microsoft Excel and data visualization software
- Prior experience developing and analyzing business reports for management/executive stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues to diverse audiences
- Preferred experience in Snowflake
- Project Management experience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
