About the role
- Develop and maintain detailed test artifacts (plans, scenarios, and scripts) including negative test cases and bespoke deprovisioning logic
- Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across the application landscape and enable parallel test cycles
- Clarify capacity expectations for concurrent execution
- Validate end-to-end user-access workflows including requests, approvals, email notifications, and attestations
- Verify application-specific deprovisioning logic to ensure correct revocation behavior
- Ensure comprehensive coverage for employee, non-employee, and service accounts including technical/service identities
- Manage the defect lifecycle: triage, root-cause analysis, prioritization, retesting, and formal sign-off
- Produce and maintain test documentation, metrics, and exit reports for audit and regulatory purposes
- Collaborate with program leadership to sequence releases and support go-live readiness
Requirements
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be ideal (Information Technology, Computer Science, etc.)
- ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst or Test Manager would be beneficial
- 5+ years of software testing experience - Ideally manual testing
- Proven expertise in testing enterprise integration projects
- In-depth knowledge of user provisioning/deprovisioning, RBAC, attestations, and segregation-of-duties principles
- Hands-on experience testing integrations via API, CSV, SQL-view, and PowerShell
- Advanced SQL and data-analysis skills for validation and troubleshooting
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills across business and technical teams
- Familiarity with UAT, defect management, troubleshooting, and test documentation
