About the role

End-User Focused Testing: validate product features with the mindset of a real customer, ensuring usability, accessibility, and functionality
Test Planning & Execution: design, document, and execute manual test cases across web applications
API Testing: use Postman and Swagger to test RESTful APIs and validate request/response payloads
Database Validation: write and execute SQL queries to verify data correctness and support troubleshooting
Product Documentation Support: collaborate with product and development teams to maintain product documentation and test cases
Cross-Team Collaboration: work closely with developers during the build cycle to ensure requirements are met and edge cases are considered early
Issue Tracking & Reporting: identify, log, and prioritize defects and provide structured, detailed bug reports with clear reproduction steps
Continuous Improvement: proactively suggest improvements in QA processes, testing efficiency, and overall product quality

2–4 years in manual QA or software testing, ideally within product-focused teams
Solid understanding of Client-Server Architecture, request/response cycles, HTTP methods, and status codes
Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing (collections, test scripts, automating flows)
Familiarity with Swagger (OpenAPI) for reviewing and validating API specifications
Practical knowledge of SQL for querying databases and validating data integrity
Experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)
Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, YouTrack)
Strong grasp of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile workflows
Documentation skills: create, maintain, and improve product documentation and test cases
Adaptability to changing priorities and high-velocity development cycles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Product-oriented mindset
English: Upper-intermediate level or higher
