About the role

  • Develop the overall creative strategy and concepts for marketing campaigns, products, or publications, ensuring they align with business objectives and target audiences.
  • Supervise, mentor, and inspire creative teams, which may include graphic designers, copywriters, art directors, photographers, and video producers.
  • Oversee the entire creative process, from initial concept development and brainstorming to final execution and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Define and enforce brand guidelines to ensure a consistent visual identity, tone, and message across all media and platforms.
  • Develop a comprehensive, full-funnel content strategy, including lifecycle content, that aligns with the organization's goals and target audience needs.
  • Lead and manage content teams (including writers, designers, and video producers) to ensure the timely creation, editing, and publication of high-quality content across all channels.
  • Oversee content initiatives across a variety of platforms, such as websites, blogs, social media, email newsletters, and other marketing collateral.
  • Track and analyze content performance using tools like Google Analytics to measure effectiveness and inform future content decisions; adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Ensure that all content maintains a consistent brand voice, style, and tone to reinforce the company's identity.
  • Implement SEO best practices and keyword strategies across all content to increase search visibility and organic traffic.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, sales, creative, and product, to ensure content supports broader organizational goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest content formats, industry trends, and emerging digital platforms to keep the content strategy fresh and relevant.
  • Manage the content budget and allocate resources effectively across various projects and initiatives.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor content creators and other team members, fostering an environment of creativity and high performance.
  • Present creative concepts and strategies to clients or senior executives, effectively articulating the vision and addressing feedback.
  • Manage and work inside the creative budget for projects and the department.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends in design, advertising, and digital media to produce innovative and relevant work.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years leading creative and content for a top-tier marketing or creative agency.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • A composed nature suited to dynamic agency life.
  • Exemplary writing and verbal skills, essential for client interactions and team management.
  • A proven track record in managing marketing and creative teams.
  • A robust understanding of the marketing and creative fields, ready to take the lead in such discussions.
