Report directly to the Chief of Staff, Global IT Operations
Play a key role in defining, managing, and facilitating the future of Owens & Minor’s IT service delivery and operations processes
Build the PMO from the ground up, including all processes, procedures, and metrics
Oversee the health and proper function of Global IT's distributed Project Managers
Work closely with several teams within our internal IT organization including IT Service Management and IT Operations
Document current processes, identify gaps, create roadmaps for improvement, define metrics, and develop/deliver training
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field of study
Minimum of eight years in progressing IT roles or equivalent experience with operation processes, training, and organizational change management
Experience building PMOs from scratch, including all processes, procedures, training and metrics
Experience in large, cross-functional teams influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively across the organization and within complex contexts (strategic planning, organization design and development, etc.)
Experience or demonstrated capability in leading IT transformational initiatives in complex and dynamic environments highly preferred.
