Working Student – Production Engineering

Designer

• Design and implement production tooling/fixtures.
• Completion of CAD packages.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of complex equipment (i.e. waterjets, CNC machines, injection machines, lasers, 3D printers, autoclaves, etc.).
• Technical writing (i.e. SOPs, Test Reports, Validations, etc.).
• Provide daily production support, including troubleshooting, answering operator questions, and delivering hands-on training.
• Designs, develops, and implements fixtures and tooling to be used in manufacturing processes and inspections.
• Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) in supporting complex equipment (i.e. 5 Axis mills, waterjets, mechanical assemblies, CNC programming (Solid Cam)).
• Supports Lean activities including Kaizen events, 5S, visual management, and process/value stream mapping.

Process Engineer – Tool Design

Support Engineer

• Perform day to day IT Support needs of the business according to service level targets and objectives as specified by management
• Investigate user problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions.
• Identify and recommend to management proactive system and application enhancements for business improvements with a cost benefit approach.
• Perform software and application installation, and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot computers and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.
• Track, prioritize and document requests using a support desk ticket system.
• Administer phone systems including hardware, softphone, voicemail and cellular.
• Develop and conduct various training and instruction for system users on operating systems, and other applications; assist users in maximizing use of networks and computing systems.
• Work as a team member with other technical staff.
• Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.
• Document all aspects of work including network problems and resolutions for future reference.

Desktop Support Analyst I

Sales

• Develop, track, and report KPIs/metrics; analyze trends, escalate issues, and support data-driven decision-making
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma (LSS) tools to eliminate waste, reduce variation, and improve process flow
• Apply structured problem-solving methodologies (DMAIC, 5 Whys, root cause analysis) and basic data analytics to resolve process and performance issues
• Lead and support Lean activities including Kaizen events, 5S/6S, visual management, and process/value stream mapping to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost
• Maintain and improve manufacturing and service processes, including sustaining engineering changes and supporting product/process updates

Process Engineer – After Sales Service

Account Manager

• Develops and implements an annual integrated sales/business plan for the assigned territory.
• Achieves specific annual performance goals regarding sales calls; sales targets and territory growth.
• Completes intensive training program to achieve technical proficiency on Ottobock products and services.
• Promotes the use of assigned products to healthcare professionals in an assigned territory through customer visits, the dissemination of sales literature and product demonstrations.
• Partners with Professional Clinical Services to educate healthcare professionals on Ottobock products.
• Uses Salesforce on a daily basis; updating customer information; analysis of customer base for the purpose of identifying/monitoring trends; competitor data and sales opportunities.
• Plans, coordinates and participates in local and regional industry meetings and trade shows.
• Uses communication tools including email and voicemail on a daily basis with a 24 hour response time.
• Completes assigned tasks by specified deadlines, including but not limited to, monthly reports, expense accounts and all other reports requested by the management team.
• Meets assigned deadlines and complete all assigned tasks.
• Maintains all company assets and product consignment in facilities.
• Recognizes opportunities to assist customers and direct them to qualified Ottobock personnel to properly trouble-shoot equipment and diagnose problems.
• Ability to work closely with other departments including but not limited to Customer Service and Marketing .
