About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and implement production tooling/fixtures.
Completion of CAD packages.
Hands-on troubleshooting of complex equipment (i.e. waterjets, CNC machines, injection machines, lasers, 3D printers, autoclaves, etc.).
Technical writing (i.e. SOPs, Test Reports, Validations, etc.).
Provide daily production support, including troubleshooting, answering operator questions, and delivering hands-on training.
Designs, develops, and implements fixtures and tooling to be used in manufacturing processes and inspections.
Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) in supporting complex equipment (i.e. 5 Axis mills, waterjets, mechanical assemblies, CNC programming (Solid Cam)).
Supports Lean activities including Kaizen events, 5S, visual management, and process/value stream mapping.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
Engineering background in manufacturing or product development settings.
Proficient with Creo CAD (3D modeling, drawings, assemblies).
Knowledge of GD&T, fabrication methods, materials, and tooling/fixture design.
Ability to support complex equipment with advanced technical expertise.
