Proactively identify and engage new clients and organizations in the life sciences industry, expanding awareness and adoption of Optics11 Life’s cutting-edge mechanobiology solutions in the UK/I territory
Build and develop a strong pipeline by targeting new opportunities, while also nurturing relationships with existing clients
Design and execute a strategic business development plan to deliver on ambitious growth targets
Collaborate and coordinate with the Field Application Team to provide technical expertise and instrument demonstrations
Attend and positively represent Optics11 Life, raising visibility at trade shows, conferences, seminars and industry networking events
Driving opportunities through the full sales cycle by identifying customer challenges and offering value adding solutions
Use and update the CRM system on a daily basis to maintain accurate forecast information
Requirements
An advanced degree in Life science or biomedical sciences
Preferably residency in the triangle: Cambridge-London-Oxford
Proven expertise in Scientific Sales; with experience in Biotech or Pharma industry
Ability to engage professionally with researchers who are dealing with complex question
Demonstrated ability to generate new business and expend client networks
Motivational and proactive qualities, with resilience to drive results in a fast-paced scale-up environment
A strong combination of technical, scientific and commercial attributes
