About the role
- Participate in all accounting functions and month-end closing processes in cooperation with our statutory accountants
- Record financial transactions in SAP and ensure reconciliation with the statutory accounts and intercompany balances
- Overview of taxes and other statutory submissions in cooperation with outsourced tax consultants
- Manage the cash flow of the local company and ensure timely collections and timely vendor payments
- Handle intercompany invoicing and ensure a smooth cash flow process
- Support in the controlling process of group subsidiaries and in the monthly group invoicing processes
- Participate in the preparation of financial statements and support the audit process through the preparation of reports and deliverables
- Assist in special (ad hoc) projects as assigned and provide actionable insights
- Coordinate with all relevant stakeholders to ensure that all required procedures will be properly performed
- Other tasks assigned by the manager
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance & accounting (Master’s degree/ACCA considered an asset)
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a multinational company
- Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office; ERP experience; SAP is a plus)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to assume ownership of tasks and deliver timely to meet deadlines
