About the role
- Process membership fee payments, monthly billings for staffing services, and ensure timely partner payments
- Manage accounts receivable: post payments, respond to inquiries, and follow up on outstanding claims
- Ensure compliance with payer requirements, industry regulations, and company policies (HIPAA, CMS)
- Collaborate with providers, patients, and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Generate financial and operational reports related to billing and collections
- Support process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline billing processes
- Support the finance team with reporting and analysis
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in billing operations, healthcare finance, or revenue cycle management (startup experience a plus)
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong customer service skills with a proven ability to support both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience in a healthtech or digital health startup
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (HIPAA, CMS regulations)
- Familiarity with automation tools and reporting dashboards
