Find, pitch, and close sponsorship opportunities and ensure audience attendance
Generate leads for live event registrations
Conduct ongoing research in assigned areas to advance industry knowledge and innovate conferences
Meet key professionals, industry leaders, and senior executives from relevant vertical markets
Keep a record of all new leads, current interactions, and client updates in the CRM database
Establish and maintain strong client relationships to gain new business
Demonstrate professionalism while ensuring client retention
Requirements
College Degree preferred
1 - 3 years of experience in sales, sponsorships, and/or events
Experience selling intangible services
Advanced English writing and speaking skills are required
Knowledge of service sales
Sales experience within the hotel and hospitality industry is preferred
Self-driven and able to function both individually and in a group
Willingness to occasionally travel for conferences
Professional and engaging communication skills with the ability to effectively pitch C-level executives and high-level decision-makers
Self-motivated with a competitive personality and a drive to exceed expectations and outperform peers
Ability to rapidly develop competent knowledge on diverse topics
Creativity, resourcefulness, and an innovative approach
