About the role

  • Clinically sell to maximize the da Vinci® Surgical System’s utilization in the Jackson, MS territory.
  • Partner with the Clinical Sales Manager to develop a sales strategy to drive robot utilization.
  • Mentor surgical teams through training sessions, OR integration and da Vinci® Surgery applications.
  • Act as a da Vinci® Surgery resource across all primary surgical specialties.
  • Support regional Sales and Marketing events to create system awareness and procedure adoption.
  • Develop a da Vinci® Surgery plan for each surgical team to ensure independent use of the system.
  • Drive continuous expansion of the user base by working with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Drive the sales of instruments and accessories.
  • Mentor new team members to become high-performance members of the clinical sales team.
  • Manage administrative tasks, sales activities, and submission of expense reports.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience including 2+ years in healthcare sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
  • Knowledge of the Operating Room environment preferred.
  • Proven record of success.
  • Ambition and exceptional work ethic.
  • Ability to excel in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent social skills and persuasive communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • May require proof of vaccination against certain diseases (including COVID-19) as requested by Intuitive and/or customers.
