About the role
- Focus exclusively on growing Fortune 100 accounts by identifying opportunities across multiple business units and departments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term engagement
- Utilize various outreach methods to connect with decision-makers and introduce staffing solutions
- Maintain a high volume of outbound communication, including phone calls and emails, to engage potential clients and nurture relationships
- Coordinate and facilitate interviews with clients, ensuring a smooth process for candidates and clients
- Discuss and negotiate rates and contract terms with clients
- Collaborate with VP of Sales and team to develop and refine sales tactics and strategy
- Stay informed about market trends and hiring needs to tailor outreach efforts
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline progress, and lead conversion metrics to management
- Travel 25–50% for on-site client visits within the Boston–New York corridor
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development and account management within the IT staffing industry
- Proven success in expanding enterprise-level accounts (Fortune 100 or similar preferred)
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to travel 25-50% for client meetings within the Boston–New York corridor
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Recent experience working at a staffing agency (candidates must have this)
