About the role

  • Focus exclusively on growing Fortune 100 accounts by identifying opportunities across multiple business units and departments
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term engagement
  • Utilize various outreach methods to connect with decision-makers and introduce staffing solutions
  • Maintain a high volume of outbound communication, including phone calls and emails, to engage potential clients and nurture relationships
  • Coordinate and facilitate interviews with clients, ensuring a smooth process for candidates and clients
  • Discuss and negotiate rates and contract terms with clients
  • Collaborate with VP of Sales and team to develop and refine sales tactics and strategy
  • Stay informed about market trends and hiring needs to tailor outreach efforts
  • Track and report on sales activities, pipeline progress, and lead conversion metrics to management
  • Travel 25–50% for on-site client visits within the Boston–New York corridor

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development and account management within the IT staffing industry
  • Proven success in expanding enterprise-level accounts (Fortune 100 or similar preferred)
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to travel 25-50% for client meetings within the Boston–New York corridor
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Recent experience working at a staffing agency (candidates must have this)
