About the role
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex, scalable Salesforce solutions using native platform capabilities and system integrations
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship, guiding developers and stakeholders through architectural decisions and solution trade-offs
- Drive the evolution of the Salesforce platform with custom metadata, platform events, and advanced automation (Flows, Orchestrator, etc.) and AI
- Evaluate new Salesforce features, third-party apps, and architectural patterns to drive platform innovation
- Build and maintain robust applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and other Salesforce frameworks
- Serve as a technical SME, defining best practices, code standards, and scalable integration patterns across the platform
- Ensure high-performance, secure implementations aligned with Salesforce governor limits and multi-tenant architecture
- Maintain technical quality of the codebase, including reviews, refactoring, and test coverage
- Contribute to CI/CD strategy and source-driven development using Copado and version control best practices
- Partner with business teams to translate operational needs into technical solutions, balancing configuration and custom development
- Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve business processes using the full Salesforce platform
- Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant integrations between Salesforce, third-party platforms like NetSuite and Amazon Connect, and internal first-party systems
- Own the end-to-end integration strategy, collaborating with DevOps and Data Engineering for real-time and asynchronous data flows
- Ensure all solutions meet security, compliance, and data governance standards (GDPR, SOX, etc.)
Requirements
- 10+ years of direct, hands-on Salesforce development experience across Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and CPQ
- Experience working in high-growth startups or similar fast-paced environments
- Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, Flow, and custom metadata types
- Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits and platform quirks
- Demonstrated experience building and managing integrations between Salesforce and external platforms via REST APIs, middleware, or platform-native tools
- Solid knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data model design, and performance tuning
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification
- Comfortable using Copado, Git, and CI/CD tools in a source-driven environment
- Proven ability to own technical features end-to-end, from design through implementation, testing, and support
- (Nice to have) Experience with Field Service Lightning or deep CPQ customization
- (Nice to have) Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, S3, SQS) or direct integration with Amazon Connect
- (Nice to have) Prior experience in the solar or renewable energy sector
- (Nice to have) Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Systems Architect
