About the role

  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop job postings.
  • Source, screen, and coordinate interviews with candidates for both cleared and non-cleared positions.
  • Manage applicant tracking processes in compliance with OFCCP and EEO requirements.
  • Maintain a talent pipeline for future openings, including active outreach to passive candidates.
  • Coordinate pre-employment processes, including background checks, security clearance documentation, and onboarding scheduling.
  • Support new hire onboarding and benefits enrollment.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with federal contracting regulations and company policy.
  • Assist with HR compliance reporting, audits, and recordkeeping (e.g., EEO-1, VETS-4212).
  • Coordinate training schedules, performance review cycles, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Process personnel changes such as promotions, transfers, pay rates and separations.
  • Ensure recruiting and HR practices align with FAR, DFARS, OFCCP, EEO, and other government contracting requirements.
  • Support internal HR audits and assist in implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide a full range of HR and talent acquisition services to attract, onboard, and retain a high-performing workforce.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or Recruiting (experience in a government contracting environment preferred).
  • Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Experience recruiting for cleared positions and working with security clearance processes.
  • Familiarity with government contracting HR compliance (FAR, DFARS, OFCCP).
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Preferred: aPHR, PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
  • General knowledge in employment law, compensation, and training & development.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop Human Resource staff members.
  • Understanding the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resource programs.
  • Ability to prioritize task to meet critical deadlines.
  • Excellent word-processing and database management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS or applicant tracking systems.
