About the role
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of high-value clients and build/preserve trusting relationships.
- Understand clients’ needs and develop plans to address them.
- Identify key staff in client companies to cultivate profitable relationships.
- Resolve clients issues quickly and effectively.
- Pursue upselling and perform cross-selling opportunities to grow revenue.
- Promote high-quality sales, supply and customer service processes.
- Preserve and develop assigned portfolio of clients.
- Approach potential customers to establish relationships.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams; act strategically and analytically to outperform competition.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a client’s relationship manager within the payments or fintech industry.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) practices.
- Experience in sales or clients service is preferred.
- Knowledge of payment processing, digital payments, card schemes, and industry regulations.
- Problem-solving attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Aptitude for fostering positive relationships.
- Ability to work in a team, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Customer-oriented mindset.
- BSc/BA in Business Administration or similar field.
- Excellent written and verbal English.
