About the role
- Lead Nomagic's robot deployments at scale and manage project engineering for robot cell solutions
- Work closely with Hardware, Software and ML Engineering Managers on research, prototyping, production and deployed robot support
- Collaborate with external partners and Procurement to enable rapid scaling from tens to hundreds of robots annually
- Lead team responsible for designing integration and delivery of robots to customers with end-to-end integration (electrical connections, mechanical parts, electrical & pneumatic components, actuators, electronics, safety) and CE certification
- Ensure deadlines are respected from the beginning of the sales process through final installation at customer sites, coordinating with project management
- Work on product development, standardization and customer projects
- Improve processes used by Nomagic and the hardware team to deliver prototype and production hardware, iterating on agile practices
- Coach team members to deliver high-quality hardware solutions using data-driven feedback and startup best practices
Requirements
- Experience in leading a team successfully building innovative hardware
- 8+ years of experience in building hardware products (including mechanical components, pneumatics or electronics) that work at scale in production
- Experience in designing and deploying automation systems and integrating them into robotized cells or production lines, including FAT & SAT
- Knowledge of applicable machine safety regulations
- Track record of working with industrial robots (ABB is a strong plus)
- Highly energetic and hands-on attitude
- Experience in the intralogistic industry (welcome)
- Strong organizational skills and experience in end-to-end project management (strong plus)
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time (peak) to customer sites
- Engineering degree (Mechanical Engineering or similar)
- Excellent communication skills in English
