About the role
- Oversee the full book production lifecycle by managing a remote team of virtual assistants
- Optimize and scale the human-in-the-loop pipeline to reduce end-to-end production time and minimize reorder/rework rates
- Identify and prioritize story themes and product features using market trends, user insights, and qualitative and quantitative research
- Create and maintain SOPs, training materials, and QA systems to ensure high-quality output
- Define and track operational metrics such as turnaround time and rework rates; build dashboards to surface insights and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with engineering, design, customer support, and marketing to enhance customization experience and ensure smooth, on-time product launches
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management, operations, or a related leadership role
- Solid background managing e-commerce workflows or human-in-the-loop systems
- Familiarity with Asana, Jira, or other project management tools
- Data-savvy with a knack for building and interpreting dashboards
- Proven success leading remote teams and working cross-functionally
- Passion for building magical, user-centric products in an iterative environment
- Strong command of English (written & spoken)
- Bonus: Experience in children's content, publishing, or digital storytelling
- Bonus: Exposure to AI-powered platforms or digital asset management tools
