About the role

  • Oversee the full book production lifecycle by managing a remote team of virtual assistants
  • Optimize and scale the human-in-the-loop pipeline to reduce end-to-end production time and minimize reorder/rework rates
  • Identify and prioritize story themes and product features using market trends, user insights, and qualitative and quantitative research
  • Create and maintain SOPs, training materials, and QA systems to ensure high-quality output
  • Define and track operational metrics such as turnaround time and rework rates; build dashboards to surface insights and drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, customer support, and marketing to enhance customization experience and ensure smooth, on-time product launches

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, operations, or a related leadership role
  • Solid background managing e-commerce workflows or human-in-the-loop systems
  • Familiarity with Asana, Jira, or other project management tools
  • Data-savvy with a knack for building and interpreting dashboards
  • Proven success leading remote teams and working cross-functionally
  • Passion for building magical, user-centric products in an iterative environment
  • Strong command of English (written & spoken)
  • Bonus: Experience in children's content, publishing, or digital storytelling
