About the role
- Lead end-to-end design processes from research and ideation through prototyping, testing, and implementation
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web applications
- Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into compelling user experiences
- Develop and maintain design systems and component libraries to ensure consistency across the platform
- Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand customer needs and pain points
- Analyze user behavior data and feedback to inform design decisions
- Create user personas and journey maps to guide product development
- Work closely with customer success teams to gather insights from existing users
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure feasible and high-quality implementation of designs
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and leadership
- Participate in product planning and roadmap discussions
- Establish and iterate on design processes and workflows
- Maintain design documentation and asset libraries
- Stay current with B2B SaaS design trends and best practices
- Contribute to building a strong design culture within the organization
Requirements
- 3-5 years of product design experience, preferably with B2B SaaS or enterprise software
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process and successful product launches
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with prototyping tools and basic understanding of front-end development constraints
- Knowledge of usability testing methods and user research techniques
- Understanding of accessibility principles and responsive design
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Bonus: Experience working at early-stage startups or fast-growing companies
