About the role
- Senior Product Designer owning end-to-end design for a product area at Fountain (frontline workforce management platform)
- Role is a 12-month contract
- Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to deliver intuitive, scalable solutions
- Lead design from discovery through delivery and translate complex workflows and data into intuitive user experiences
- Conduct user research to deeply understand user needs and validate solutions
- Work in rapid, iterative cycles from problem framing to polished design to accelerate learning and delivery
- Bring clarity to ambiguous problems through structured thinking and strong problem-solving skills
- Communicate ideas with precision using storytelling, prototypes, and data-driven rationale
- Contribute to high-quality UI and UX design system patterns for consistency and scalability
Requirements
- 5+ years of product design experience in high-complexity B2B SaaS, with a portfolio showcasing user-focused problem solving and elegant product solutions
- Expertise in Figma, with a solid understanding of usability best practices, interaction and visual design, and design systems
- Experience in user research and validation
- Strong sense of ownership; ability to balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to explain the rationale behind design decisions
- Time zone flexibility — 6+ hours overlap with US Pacific Time
- Nice to have: Experience working with talent acquisition, sourcing, or marketing platforms
