About the role

Senior Product Designer owning end-to-end design for a product area at Fountain (frontline workforce management platform)
Role is a 12-month contract
Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to deliver intuitive, scalable solutions
Lead design from discovery through delivery and translate complex workflows and data into intuitive user experiences
Conduct user research to deeply understand user needs and validate solutions
Work in rapid, iterative cycles from problem framing to polished design to accelerate learning and delivery
Bring clarity to ambiguous problems through structured thinking and strong problem-solving skills
Communicate ideas with precision using storytelling, prototypes, and data-driven rationale
Contribute to high-quality UI and UX design system patterns for consistency and scalability

5+ years of product design experience in high-complexity B2B SaaS, with a portfolio showcasing user-focused problem solving and elegant product solutions
Expertise in Figma, with a solid understanding of usability best practices, interaction and visual design, and design systems
Experience in user research and validation
Strong sense of ownership; ability to balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints
Exceptional communication skills and ability to explain the rationale behind design decisions
Time zone flexibility — 6+ hours overlap with US Pacific Time
Nice to have: Experience working with talent acquisition, sourcing, or marketing platforms
