About the role
- Provide quality control, audit oversight and risk identification for Foreclosure & Property Preservation department
- Assist in identifying operational risks and escalating issues to management
- Perform reviews of proposed judgment orders pre-filing to ensure accuracy and compliance to state and client regulations
- Perform reviews of other foreclosure & property preservation related documents to ensure accuracy as needed
- Enter file level attorney firm discrepancies and review monthly firm scorecards of highest error rate firms
- Work with Attorney Network department to develop Performance Improvement Plans when firm quality issues are identified
- Recommend procedural changes and/or policy updates
- Identify trends and potential training opportunities based on quality control oversight
- Research and review accounts, items, or processes and act as Quality Assurance liaison with functional areas
- Provide on-site expertise to assist staff with foreclosure & property preservation processing and document related questions specific to quality oversight review
- Review and identify areas of opportunity from trends in QA analysis, provide information to management on root cause analysis and trends
- Assist with generation of error reports and monthly reporting of QA key performance indicators
- Complete monthly workflow audits and maintain/improve quality results by following standards
- Compile daily, weekly, and monthly loan level quality review results and trending
- Participate in special projects for the department and assist with daily and weekly reporting and team audits
- Perform related duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- College degree or equivalent experience required
- 6+ years of mortgage servicing or foreclosure and/or property preservation experience required
- 2+ years of Quality Assurance experience required
- Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Able to effectively interact with managers and members of the functional areas including but not limited to Foreclosure/Property Preservation and compliance
- A self-motivated work style and a strong desire to exceed expectations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to meet timelines
- Must possess excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Above average skills in quality and production rates
- BKFS/LoanSphere experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office- Outlook and Excel
- All employees are required to have smart phones that meet Company security standards with the ability to install apps such as Okta Verify and Microsoft Authenticator
