About the role
- Facilitate student learning by supporting academic content and promoting appropriate study and learning skills
- Integrate effective learning strategies into facilitation, encouraging independent and successful learners
- Support students through live sessions and asynchronous learning resources such as skills videos
- Maintain an assigned weekly appointment schedule
- Build, revise, and facilitate group video conferencing sessions
- Develop resources for SNHU's Academic Resource Center based on student demand
- Engage in prescheduled 1:1 video conferences with students
- Maintain confidentiality of all student records and information shared
- Conduct work shifts in a dedicated, quiet environment with reliable internet access
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years' experience facilitating adult learning experiences 1:1 or in groups
- Current expertise in a high-need content area such as math and statistics, IT and coding, and MBA
- Experience with Learning Management System (Brightspace, Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, etc.)
- Quiet work environment with reliable internet access
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Comfort level with learning new online systems and technologies
- Night and weekend availability based on business needs
