Financial Planning and Analysis

• You will be introduced to the department and rotate between 6 of the following teams with approximately three months in each team: Investment Products (Operations), Asset Transfers, Corporate Actions, Domestic, International, Tax, Non-Custodial Investments.
• The graduates obtain varied experience and exposure within Investment Operations area and become immersed in the daily activities of financial markets.
• The exposure provides graduates the ability to understand ASX company announcements, share movements and capital gains tax components, etc.
• Furthermore, the graduates can learn the technicalities of international markets and start developing their knowledge in managed account schemes and client asset transfers.

Investment Operations Graduate

Product Designer

• Lead and participate in customer research to uncover insights and inform design decisions.
• Design customer journeys, workflows, and service touchpoints that deliver seamless experiences.
• Translate research findings into service blueprints, concepts, prototypes, and UI designs that balance usability and business outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with product managers and engineers to ensure alignment and execution.
• Engage in full end-to-end design processes, from discovery to validation.

Customer Support

• Handle inbound telephone calls, emails, and web chats regarding products, services, and general enquiries.
• Deliver service within agreed timeframes and to the highest standard.
• Document interactions and escalate issues to the Team Leader when required.

Customer Service Representative

• Perform daily reconciliations of the Fund’s operating cash account and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate transaction recording in the general ledger and maintain audit documentation.
• Support member reporting and compliance with ATO standards (e.g., TBARs, MATS, MAAS).
• Prepare reconciliation and ad hoc reports for internal and external audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including automation opportunities.

Manager

• Deliver Line 2 assurance reviews across high-risk areas including Service, Administration & Support, Investment Operations, Product, Finance, Custody, People & Culture, and Sales & Distribution.
• Assess design and operating effectiveness of controls and recommend improvements.
• Engage with stakeholders through walkthroughs, evidence reviews, and analysis.

Risk and Compliance Advisory Practice Lead

Financial Crime

• Work closely with our Risk and Compliance Business Partner – Financial Crime.
• Collaborate with Line 1 Operations Governance and other stakeholders to ensure effective oversight, challenge, and continuous improvement of our financial crime controls.
• Help strengthen our financial crime prevention and detection capabilities.

Financial Crime Analyst

• Onboarding new MAPS accounts for non-custodial investments
• Verifying and importing historical asset data into client portfolios
• Reviewing applications, LPOAs, redemptions, and fund manager instructions
• Reconciling income tax components and processing adjustments
• Participating in user acceptance testing for system upgrades
• Driving process improvements and contributing to smarter, faster workflows

Assistant Analyst – Non-Custodial Investments

• Investigate and respond to external complaints in line with RG 271 and regulatory requirements
• Liaise with external agencies including AFCA to ensure timely and accurate resolution
• Document dispute processes and outcomes with precision
• Recommend solutions that align with legal obligations and internal policies
• Manage high volumes of complex disputes within strict regulatory timeframes and meet SLAs
• Ensure consistency and fairness in dispute outcomes while tailoring responses to individual cases
• Keep up with regulatory changes and industry best practices
• Collaborate within the Operational Governance Division on governance, transaction monitoring, and fraud-related matters

Senior Analyst - External Dispute Resolution

Product Analyst

• Support onboarding of new managed account portfolios
• Review and update Product Disclosure Statements (PDS)
• Analyse and improve fee and cost methodologies to enhance competitiveness
• Leverage Power BI and internal data to generate business insights and metrics
• Conduct industry research and support due diligence documentation, competitor analysis and committee processes
• Work closely with investment governance, operations, IT, and sales teams in a high-growth environment
• Contribute to expanding Netwealth's managed accounts capability (130+ suites and growing)
