About the role
- Launch and lead Midwest DSP expansion and establish FreeWheel presence in Chicago/Midwest
- Evangelize the platform and supply to independent agencies and programmatic teams
- Prospect and close net-new opportunities with a hunter’s, consultative sales approach
- Maintain high level of sales activity and consistently exceed revenue targets
- Build and expand market presence and create a unique playbook for growth in the territory
- Develop and execute account plans to expand platform adoption and deepen client engagement
- Translate client marketing objectives into actionable programmatic strategies using the DSP and data solutions
- Cultivate executive-level relationships within independent agencies as a trusted advisor
- Deliver tailored platform demonstrations showcasing DSP capabilities and value
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, legal, and account management across FreeWheel & Comcast
- Represent the voice of the customer to influence product development and go-to-market strategy
- Monitor industry trends, competitive platforms, and client needs to inform strategy and positioning
Requirements
- 5-7 years of sales experience, including at least 3+ years selling DSP/programmatic platforms directly to agencies
- Established connections within Midwest independent agency networks
- Proven ability to expand territories, influence decision-makers and lead a complex deal lifecycle
- Strong new-business development track record with direct platform sales experience
- Deep understanding of programmatic sales and platform-specific challenges
- Exceptional presentation, organization, storytelling, and interpersonal communication skills
- Entrepreneurial and goal-oriented with a passion for digital media
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales pipeline management
- BA/BS degree required (Comcast may consider combinations of coursework and experience)
- Targeted Commission: $125,000.00
- Potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for overachieving sales targets
- Commission under applicable plan for most sales positions
