About the role
- Acquire new customers on DataBee's product lines within a dedicated territory, patch, or set of accounts.
- Research target accounts and develop prospecting campaigns.
- Generate opportunities using creative ideas, tools, field marketing, trade shows, and partners.
- Lead entire sales cycle from initial opportunity creation to finalizing opportunity outcome, including prospecting, discovery, forecasting, selling and closing.
- Engage with DataBee Technology & Reseller Partners in support of sales opportunities.
- Participate in internal team meetings to collaborate with supporting ecosystem on opportunities, resolve customer issues, share best practices, and work with cross functional teams.
- Become a trusted advisor to prospect accounts and existing customers, linking Comcast’s technology to business cases.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, Product Management and Product Marketing.
- Use creative experience and sound business judgment to drive growth in the security and compliance data fabric segment.
- Be a self-starter with high levels of intrinsic motivation and a drive for excellence in customer service and value realization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of sales experience working with SaaS security enterprise technology.
- Background in security or risk or compliance technology sales
- Strong cybersecurity territory contacts at VP, SVP, CxO levels
- Successful history of working with Resellers, SI’s, and Advisories.
- Experience selling into large enterprise accounts & understanding complex sales cycles.
- Experience working for a startup technology company.
- Affinity for software, ideally with a knack for IT security.
- Net new logo accomplishments and value selling experience.
- Passionate focus on Pipeline Generation & Opportunity Progression; including thoughtful planning and preparation.
- Desire to be coached and a structured approach to work with a proven sales process.
- Ability to use internal resources, partners, and team members to be successful.
- An ‘in the field’ mentality leading you to meet customers & prospects face to face wherever possible.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Bachelor\u2019s Degree (preferred)
