About the role
- Support accounts through the collection timeline and ensure timely collection activity
- Handle customer inquiries inbound and outbound to collect delinquent balances and retain customers
- Act as agent for chat, email escalations and aging accounts
- Liaise between internal and external customers on serviceability, bankruptcy, credit inquiries and disputes
- Apply account credits accurately and explain billing cycles, processes, and prorates
- Process and schedule disconnects and payments on delinquent accounts
- Calculate and communicate fees, and one-time and recurring monthly fees
- Multitask between multiple tools and systems and respond to escalations
- Follow CPNI and PI policies and maintain confidentiality
- Work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and overtime as necessary
Requirements
- Must have at least 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Collection
- Experience in Accounting is an advantage
- Must have Customer Service / Customer-facing experience
- Excellent English communication skills
- Experience in Oracle Fusion and Salesforce is preferred
- Able to work on the night shift schedule
- High School Diploma / GED
