About the role
- Handle commercial customers’ inquiries inbound and outbound to collect delinquent balances and retain customers
- Follow federal and state collection guidelines and laws
- Establish rapport and uphold Comcast’s customer experience programs (NPS, Comcast Customer Guarantee)
- Multitask between multiple tools and systems to resolve customer situations
- Explain billing cycles, prorates, fees, one-time charges, and recurring monthly fees
- Process secure customer payments and create payment arrangements
- Process and schedule disconnects on delinquent accounts
- Utilize escalation procedures for prompt resolution
- Meet or exceed established goals and performance metrics
- Work in a fast-paced, high-transaction environment and manage upset customers
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and follow CPNI and PI guidelines
- Act as a product expert for Cable TV, Internet, Phone and SmartOffice
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED (Required)
- 0-2 Years relevant Work Experience
- Experience working in a remote environment is preferred
- Flexible schedule to work Monday - Friday anytime between the hours of 8am-8pm EST
- Must be able to wear telephone headset and manipulate objects such as pen, keyboard, and mouse
- Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary
- Follow applicable national credit and collection policies, as well as all Federal, State, and Local regulations
