About the role
- Handle commercial customers’ inquiries via inbound and outbound calls
- Collect delinquent balances and retain customers using negotiation skills
- Arrange payment arrangements/programs and process secure customer payments
- Explain billing cycles, calculate fees, and communicate charges
- Process and schedule disconnects on delinquent accounts
- Multitask between multiple tools and systems to resolve customer situations
- Utilize escalation procedures for prompt resolution
- Meet or exceed established goals and performance metrics
- Maintain professionalism and follow CPNI and PI guidelines
- Act as a product expert for Cable TV, Internet, Phone and SmartOffice
- Participate in Net Promoter System activities
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED (Required)
- 0-2 Years relevant work experience
- Experience working in a remote environment is preferred
- Flexible schedule to work Monday - Friday anytime between the hours of 8am-8pm EST
- Must be able to wear telephone headset and manipulate objects such as pen, keyboard, and mouse
- Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data
- Follow Federal, State, and Local regulations related to collections
- Experience with negotiation and collections preferred
