About the role
- Assess state health department needs on HIV/AIDS care and treatment programming issues
- Lead our technical assistance (TA) response to those needs
- Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis related to HIV and viral hepatitis care and treatment programs and develop recommendations to guide TA activities
- Collaboratively develop, design, and deliver tools, resources, training, and consultation in response to requests from governmental HIV programs and their state Medicaid partners
- Represent NASTAD and its positions at meetings, briefings, and consultations related to state health department HIV care programs
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of work experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- At least 2 years of experience working with Medicaid and/or other surveillance data systems (i.e. eHARS, PRISM, MAVEN, etc.)
- At least 2 years of experience working on governmental public health program teams within Ryan White, ADAP, HIV surveillance, or Medicaid units.
