• Architect Automated Security Pipelines: Partner with the Platform team to design and implement advanced automated security controls (SAST, DAST, SCA) within our CI/CD pipelines, providing engineers with rapid, high-fidelity feedback.
• Infrastructure and Policy as Code: You will guide the security architecture for our AWS environment by treating infrastructure as software enabling secure and scalable deployments and ensure automated compliance.
• Threat Detection Engineering: Engineer advanced threat detection capabilities by integrating platform logs and event data (including RabbitMQ) into our SIEM (Google Security Operations). You will develop and tune YARA-L rules to proactively identify and respond to threats.
• Collaborative Design and Threat Modelling: Partner with engineering squads during the design phase of new features, facilitating collaborative threat modelling sessions to build security in from the start.
• Developer Enablement: Create feedback loops that deliver security insights directly into developer workflows (e.g., automated PR comments), enabling teams to self-remediate and learn continuously.

DevSecOps Architect

• Take ownership of our data architecture. You will define schemas for new entities and refactor existing models to improve performance and clarity as the product evolves.
• Create APIs and connectors that allow users to access data easily without needing deep infrastructure knowledge.
• Enable the "Universal Data Layer" that powers our AI agents and internal services.
• Build features in our Internal Developer Platform that make it easy to deploy and manage AI models.

Senior Data Engineer

Platform Engineer

• Architect Secure Foundations: You help the platform team to own the security of our developer platform. This includes designing, building, and maintaining security controls and services within our CI/CD pipelines.
• Secure Our Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Partner with your Platform teammates to be the subject matter expert for securing our Terraform modules and cloud environments (AWS, Azure). You'll focus on preventing misconfigurations before they're deployed.
• Incident Response and Operations: Participate in the team's on-call rotation, including out-of-hours coverage to support platform availability and security. We strive to keep our rotation sustainable and low-noise to respect your work-life balance. You will assist in troubleshooting critical issues, lead the response for security-specific incidents. Crucially, we believe in a blameless culture, so you will drive post-mortems focused on learning and preventing recurrence.
• Build a Secure "Paved Road": Seamlessly integrate and orchestrate security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning) into developer workflows. The goal is to make security testing a self-service, low-friction part of the development lifecycle.
• Enable Vulnerability Remediation: Develop tools and processes to help engineering teams triage, prioritise, and remediate vulnerabilities. Your focus will be on automating discovery and providing clear, actionable context to developers.
• Implement Platform-Level Detection: Leverage our cloud security and observability platforms to build robust, automated threat detection and response capabilities for the platform itself.
• Be a Security Partner: In partnership with Infosec team, act as a primary security consultants for our developers. You'll provide expert guidance on secure coding (Elixir, TypeScript/Node, Python), secret management, and securing our event-driven architecture and AI services.
• Govern Emerging Technologies: Help architect and implement our AI Management System, ensuring our innovative AI services are built on a secure foundation that meets governance standards like ISO42001.

Senior Platform Security Engineer

Manager

• Lead the Advanced Assessments function and internal Awarding Organisation for Multiverse degree apprenticeships, owning the policies and processes that ensure smooth, compliant and high-quality assessment delivery
• Contribute to the overall strategy for degree programmes and assessments, both as a key member of the Learner Services management team and collaborating cross-functionally with Delivery and other teams to drive improvements and provide seamless operations and learner experience
• Oversee modular assessment marking and moderation, ensuring apprentices’ project submissions are marked and moderated within SLAs and in line with regulations
• Run the Board of Examiners, the key quality assurance mechanism that awards grades and enables learners to progress through their programme journey
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of gateways and end-point assessments for which Multiverse is the awarding organisation, ensuring policies align with regulatory requirements, processes are compliant and efficient, and data and feedback are used to improve operations and learner experience
• Line-manage a small internal operations team and manage a pool of External Examiners and External Assessors (contractors) who deliver and quality-assure key elements of degree assessments

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Collaborate on the preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports, providing clear variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
• Support the annual budgeting cycle and contribute to re-forecasting exercises that reflect our evolving business strategy.
