About the role
- Assist in routine maintenance, installation of small works, call-outs and standby for Intruder, CCTV, Access Control and Fire Alarms
- Work alongside a competent Engineer
- Maintain fire alarm, access control, CCTV and intruder systems to high standards
- Carry out routine services of fire and intruder alarm systems
- Provide detailed information to enable accurate quoting of chargeable works
- Maintain high standards of customer service and professional conduct
- Keep concise and accurate records of work completed
- Complete Fire & Security Systems Qualification (3-year apprenticeship with 14 block releases and Level 3 End Point Assessment)
Requirements
- Qualified to A Level or BTEC (Electrical qualification advantageous but not mandatory)
- GCSEs in Maths and English grade 4+
- Full, Manual UK Driving Licence (or must pass within first 18 months)
- Exemplary conduct and appearance; excellent communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Flexibility, adaptability and reliability
- Self-motivated with ability to manage workload and coursework, meet deadlines and targets
- Role requires regional travel, including travel in and out of London
- Right to Work in the UK required; no sponsorship provided
