About the role

  • Serve as Move For Hunger’s lead storyteller and digital voice, owning copywriting across channels and social media creation.
  • Report to the Director of Marketing and collaborate with the graphic designer and cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and manage an integrated content strategy aligned with organizational goals and partner campaigns.
  • Write compelling, brand-aligned content for emails, blog posts, website pages, partner campaigns, press releases, fundraising appeals, digital ads, and donor communications.
  • Create, schedule, publish, and manage social media content with a focus on LinkedIn; proactively engage with followers and partner accounts.
  • Interview partners, donors, and community members to produce authentic, mission-driven stories and partner spotlights.
  • Track analytics, produce reports with insights and performance recommendations; plan and execute paid social campaigns with the digital team.
  • Support execution of seasonal campaigns, activations, cause-marketing initiatives, and email marketing optimization using SEO & AEO best practices.
  • Contribute to asset libraries and content calendars; provide tactical support during fundraising pushes and corporate partner campaigns.
  • Work with contractors, volunteers, and interns to capture and edit content as needed.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, or digital communications (nonprofit or cause-marketing experience a plus).
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style across multiple platforms.
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, social media management, and digital storytelling.
  • Proven ability to drive engagement and conversions through content.
  • Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and a passion for social impact.
  • Proficient in tools like Canva, Asana, social media schedulers, Google Analytics, and email platforms.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote team environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with short-form video, SEO tools, Pardot, and nonprofit or cause marketing campaigns.
