About the role

  • Develop and own Tactical’s brand positioning, value proposition, and go-to-market strategy to drive revenue growth and talent attraction.
  • Define target audience personas and messaging frameworks for business development and recruitment marketing.
  • Translate insights, data, and industry trends into actionable strategies, creative briefs, and campaign plans.
  • Align marketing strategies to business objectives and measure performance via ROI-focused dashboards.
  • Build and maintain a seasonal campaign calendar aligned with key commercial milestones.
  • Plan and execute full-funnel campaigns across paid, earned, and owned channels, ensuring clear objectives and measurable results.
  • Manage end-to-end campaign development: briefing, content creation, execution, optimisation, and reporting.
  • Partner with the Growth Team to support pitch decks, case studies, and creds updates to win new business and strengthen retention.
  • Grow and optimise Tactical’s social media presence (including leadership profiles) leveraging data-driven strategies.
  • Oversee brand integrity across all touchpoints; lead brand guideline updates and maintain the Marketing Wiki.
  • Partner with People Ops to design and execute employer branding campaigns that attract top-tier talent.
  • Own PR strategy, including thought leadership initiatives, event partnerships, and media relations.
  • Develop high-impact marketing collateral—creds decks, FAQs, case studies, and POV papers—to support pitches and client conversations.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the Growth Team, ensuring marketing assets directly support revenue objectives.
  • Develop and maintain creds decks, case studies, and RFP templates; collaborate on pitch strategy.
  • Track and analyze marketing-driven lead conversions, reporting impact on business revenue.
  • Manage and mentor a small team (1–2 juniors) and freelancers; foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as an advisor to leadership, aligning marketing efforts with company priorities and commercial goals.
  • Drive internal communications and thought leadership initiatives to keep teams informed and engaged.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in marketing, with proven expertise across brand, campaigns, and growth strategy.
  • A track record of leading successful multi-channel campaigns and delivering measurable business results.
  • Experience managing small teams and collaborating with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms, analytics tools, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to craft compelling narratives through decks, case studies, and thought leadership content.
  • Comfort with data and reporting, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • A passion for innovation in brand, content, and experience marketing.
  • Confident and creative marketing strategist with executional excellence; data-driven and results-oriented.
  • Natural communicator and collaborator; curious, proactive, and unafraid to challenge the status quo.
  • Leadership experience and willingness to mentor and value feedback and collective success.
